Scrudu is designed keeping a traditional classroom relationship between Teacher and Student. So everything on Scrudu imitates the usual lifecycle of a classroom assessment.

To create your digital assessment, login into Scrudu and click on the Assessment option on the left. This ‘assessment’ tab reflects the typical assessment folder or cabinet usually teachers have on their desk. Hence, all the assessment we create will be organised under this tab and to further classify we will be creating a folder inside ‘assessment’ to help us locate it easily for future reference.

Now we have our folder, let’s open it and then create an assessment by giving it a name and select what type of assessment it’s going to be (a tag which will help students differentiate with other assessments). Then press create and viola it’s done! Click on the assessment name and it’ll take us to the Assessment Creator Toolbox where all the magic happens.

Scrudu has the most comprehensive set of question type which contains Single Type, Check Box (Multiple Select), True and False, One word Answer, Fill in the Blanks, Match the Following, Essay, File Upload, and Programming Code. Each question type lets you create your own digital questions, with *auto grading provisions and well thought out settings to replicate traditional style paper based questions. Once created, it stays forever and ready to be reused with one click or share with your fellow educators and grow your circle of learning(We will cover this in our upcoming posts). An online assessment in Scrudu looks like the image attached below.

In the next post we will explore how we created/added the questions in detail. Meanwhile we suggest to take Scrudu for a spin . Visit Scrudu at https://scrudu.akiraku.com to know more about it or go for a demo here. For pricing details visit our main home page Akiraku.
