We at AKIVERSE would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to each participant who dedicated time and effort to give us your insightful feedback on all our games. Our community strength and your feedback is truly a valuable asset to us. Below is the compiled summary of the results of the Closed Beta Test (Phase 1), which ended in April 10, 2023. These results will set the stage for the next steps in refining the AKIVERSE world for all of you.

Rate the overall experience of the games and gameplay

Our gamers enjoy playing AKIVERSE arcade games, particularly nostalgic ones like Star Guardian and Bubble Attack. Users appreciate the retro feel of the games, and some have mentioned breaking high scores as a key motivator for continued play. In addition, the NFT and rewards system is taken pleasure in, with minimal lagging. To supplement the best gaming experience, suggestions on integrating a leadership/score ranking aspect would boost the competitive aspect of the games. Some concerns over operability issues regarding the screen being cut off on certain devices or difficulty connecting to Metamask have also been highlighted. Additionally, a current lack of variety in game categories was expressed, with a desire to engage in more puzzle games or different types of arcade games.

Despite these concerns, the majority of feedback is positive, with gamers finding the games fun, addictive, and amusing. Many appreciate the simple and easy-to-understand gameplay, but some users do express a desire for more complex gameplay elements. Based on the feedback provided, we at AKIVERSE will focus on improving operability issues and introducing additional game categories and features.

Rate the game Bubble Attack

Bubble Attack’s gameplay is generally fun and exciting, with challenging aspects. The accessibility of the game, especially for those with colour blindness is greatly appreciated. However, others wish for more strategy or difficulty levels. A number of comments about the game control confusion and lag has been highlighted, and we are actively working on bettering the Bubble Attack experience for you all.

How easy was Bubble Attack to play in terms of the action and the rules?

Responses from our community show that Bubble Attack has a simple and easy-to-understand gameplay. The game’s difficulty level is generally considered to be easy to intermediate.

Any other feedback on Bubble Attack? Anything is welcome! (Improvements we could make, comments on the game, etc.)

Areas of improvement lie within technicalities of adding more gameplay elements- such as special bubbles or items, different game modes, and strategic controls.

Enhancements to game optimisation and UI need refining. Additionally, players have mentioned to integrate an element of surprise in the game, either through longer play time or by increasing the damage scale to opponents. Lastly, gamers prefer to have some control over swapping bubble colors to preventing the same color from appearing in succession, as the predetermined arrangement of the bubble colours have an impact on scoring, which was found to be unfair. The need for longer trajectory lines with larger bubble sizes have been noted by us at AKIVERSE.

Rate the game Star Guardian

Star Guardian has gained rapport for its nostalgic feel and simplicity, however many found its gameplay to be monotonous and/or difficult to play on certain devices. Overall, it can be said that Star Guardian is most enjoyable for those who like classic shooting games, but may not appeal to all players.

Star Guardian has received mixed reviews. Some have praised the good controls, cute characters, and fun gameplay. However, others have brought out concerns about the game’s monotonous nature, limited movement range, and item drops being too luck-based (rather than being based on game merit). Players have also suggested that the game should be increasingly challenging with additional power-ups and flashy effects.

Requests to improve to the game’s optimization and graphics have been highlighted, with suggestions in adding RPG-like elements such as accumulating experience points or having continuity between stages. Most importantly, the initial instruction of the game must be framed to be more easy to grasp.
