AKIVERSE SPARK QUEST で発生した一部のアクセス遅延につきまして/Regarding Some Access Delays in AKIVERSE SPARK QUEST

8/19（土）に開催したゲーム大会「AKIVERSE SPARK QUEST」にご参加いただいた皆様、ありがとうございました。

当ゲーム大会の開催中に、一部の環境下にてアクセス遅延が発生した件につきまして、以下の通りご報告とお詫びをさせていただきます。

▼発生時期
8/19（土）22:00 (JST) — 23:30 (JST) の間において断続的に発生

▼主な事象
・Arcade Machine 一覧などの表示系全般の遅延
・各ゲームの読み込み遅延
・ゲーム終了後の通信遅延

上記の事象はゲーム大会において、想定以上のアクセス集中によるAPI及びデータベースの負荷過多による全体的な処理の遅延によって発生しました。それによって、ユーザーのみなさまの通信環境、端末環境によっては遅延が続き、結果的にゲームを続けてご利用いただくことができないケースもありました。

当該日時において、ゲームをプレイしていただいた皆様、大会に参加予定であったにも関わらず、プレイがしづらい状況となってしまったみなさまへ、大変なご不便とご迷惑をおかけいたしました。

特にゲーム大会での参加成績に影響のある事象が発生してしまったことに関しまして、深くお詫び申し上げます。

なお、現在AKIVERSEはご掲出させていただいている通り、オープンβバージョンの提供とさせていただいており、今後に控えるバージョンアップ、および正式版における高品質なサービスの提供に向けて、再発防止策および障害発生時におけるユーザーのみなさまへのお知らせ方法など、改善策の構築を行ってまいります。

改めまして、この度はご参加いただいたみなさまへご不便とご迷惑をおかけいたしましたこと、深くお詫び申し上げます。

Thank you to everyone who participated in the game tournament “AKIVERSE SPARK QUEST” held on Saturday, August 19.

During this game tournament , we experienced some access delays under certain conditions. We would like to report for this incident as follows.

▼Time of Occurrence
Occurred intermittently between 10:00 PM (UTC+9) and 23:30 PM (UTC+9) on August 19th (Sat)

▼Main Issues
- Delay in displaying lists, such as the Arcade Machine list
- Delay in loading individual games
- Communication delays after game completion

These issues arose during the game tournament due to an overwhelming load on our APIs and databases, resulting from a higher-than-expected concentration of accesses. As a result, depending on users’ internet and device conditions, some continued to experience delays, and in some cases, were unable to continue using the service.

To all those who were playing the game during the mentioned timeframe, and to those who wanted to participate in the tournament but found it difficult to play due to these issues, we deeply apologize for the inconvenience and trouble caused. We especially regret the impact this incident may have had on the performance scores in the game tournament.

Please note that AKIVERSE is currently offered in its open beta version. In preparation for our upcoming version updates and the release of our official version, we are working on preventive measures against reoccurrence, improving the way we notify our users during disruptions, and establishing appropriate response strategies.
