We were blown away by the results from our Game Center Auction on tofuNFT.
Game Center Sale #3 was held as an Auction on tofuNFT over 5 days. Small and Medium Game Centers were open for bidding for 3 days from 8th-11th April 2022, while Large Game Centers were open for bidding for 5 days from 8th-13th April 2022.
There were 5 Large, 10 Medium and 25 Small Game Centers sold at Auction. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the Auction. The results were beyond our expectations, and we are grateful for your support.
All About Game Center Sale #3 on tofuNFT
Game Center Sale #3 allowed us to expand the Akiverse arcade universe, by introducing new Game Centers in Shibuya City.
The new Game Centers feature designs inspired by the atmosphere and architecture found in Shibuya City, like the Hachiko Statue and Shibuya 109.
Our design team has done an incredible job with these freshly released Game Centers. We hope that you’ll love them just as much as we do!
Along with our new Game Center designs, we also introduced a new sale method and location, by Auctioning the Game Centers on tofuNFT.
Game Centers were made available for bidding progressively from 13:00 UTC on 8th April 2022. The Auction kicked off with a flurry of bidding activity, with all Game Centers quickly receiving bids above the start prices.
The level of activity for the Auction, combined with high levels of traffic on the Polygon Network and tofuNFT, meant that it was difficult to place a bid before a higher bid was received. It took many bidders several attempts to process a new lead bid, but fortunately they all eventually went through successfully.

In the dying minutes and seconds of the auctions for each type of Game Center, a bidding war emerged and prices skyrocketed. When the hammer fell the average prices grew significantly from our last sale. Here’s where the ETH prices landed compared to Game Center Sale #2:
There’s still plenty of room left to grow as Akiverse expands. All buyers who were lucky enough to get a Game Center NFT in our first 3 sold out NFT drops will benefit from getting in at this early stage of the project.
