Blockchain security expert Bok Khoo joins Akropolis as Advisory Board Member

We’re delighted to announce that Bok ‘Bokky’ Khoo, who is one of the world’s pre-eminent blockchain security specialists, has joined the Akropolis Advisory Board.

Bokky has been the principal person behind our smart contract audit and is a prominent and distinguished blockchain security professional.

“I believe that Akropolis’ goal to create a decentralised infrastructure for pension savings can be incredibly beneficial for everyone around the globe. In my opinion, decentralized systems can be hugely effective in the financial field and it is great to see blockchain technology forging ahead in this new area,” said Khoo.

A renowned professional in the blockchain space with more than 28 years experience in the banking and finance sector, Bokky is one of the central figures in the global blockchain community. He has been closely involved in the Ethereum community since the blockchain’s inception, running regularly over-subscribed Ethereum workshops in Sydney, as well as providing guidance and expertise on security matters to notable Ethereum-based projects.

Bokky has developed and audited smart contracts for around thirty blockchain projects, including Oneledger, Bluzelle, Cindicator and Stox. Here at Akropolis, we’re delighted to be joining this illustrious list.

Recently, Bokky started the Decentralized Future Fund DAO, which provides financial support to facilitate independence for developers and non-developers who want to create a new, decentralized future. To achieve this, the foundation will create a network of experienced blockchain developers, who are both technical and non-technical business types, to be easily accessed by newcomers. The network architecture of the foundation is structured to help and support each member by sharing their knowledge and experience through meetups and workshops.
