Welcome to Alítheia & Lógos, a monthly newsletter getting at the truth and reason in parts of Australian life that are void of both.

Ever wonder when marriage gave way to promiscuity and lasciviousness? Ever wonder when having children, and lots of them, gave way to terminating them? Ever wonder when education gave way to indoctrination in progressive moral orthodoxy? Remember when gender was a rigid biological truism? Remember when private enterprise was the ruling market force? Remember when boys grew into men and developed responsibility? Remember when girls grew into women and raised strong families? Remember when tolerance actually meant tolerance? In short, remember when life and association with your fellows were simple, or at least simpler?

There was once a time when society accepted a common narrative, a common standard accepted by all for the cohesive function of society and good government. Nowadays, no narrative is safe from the jack-boot of post-modernist and neo-Marxist ideas of progress.

Progress often happens at such a pace that many people, even its pioneers and most ardent activists, have a hard time keeping up. Suddenly, gender is no longer a rigid biological certainty. Suddenly, government is surety in the financial affairs of individuals and families. Suddenly marriage is considered an archaic institution that serves only the power hierarchy of white heterosexual men. Suddenly, having children and raising a family is the preserve of wealth and privilege. Suddenly, people have no faith in God, yet are more ‘religious’ than ever.

These may have crept in slowly and stealthily over a period of time, but now, suddenly, they are here. We must do away with the idea that anything which happens to fall under the label of ‘progress’ is inherently good. Even though it might be, we must stop and seriously assess in high resolution and from every conceivable angle and frame of mind, if something is truly good. We must stop and seriously and thoughtfully ask, ‘is this helpful or merely expedient?’ We must throw away expedience and pursue what is right.

This publication aims at subsurface analyses of contemporary issues such as these to help individuals in modern Australia dispel the contradictions of woke theory and dampen the din and uproar of the media and activist classes. Alítheia & Lógos are Greek words, the former meaning Truth and the latter meaning Reason. This publication will endeavour to avail itself to these in the full breadth of their meaning as the instruments with which our once-great institutions and traditions may be scrubbed of the intellectual and moral vandalism which has rendered them unattractive to the next generation, and unrecognisable to the last.
