Alacris announces the release of Legicash, a fast cryptocurrency payment scaling solution for Ethereum to alphanet. This represents a major milestone for the Operating System company addressing the cryptocurrency functionalities to attract users to blockchain by creating an end-to-end Distributed Application (DApp) development platform.

This alphanet version of Legicash is the first in a two-part release. Legicash demonstrates our Mutual Knowledge Base (MKB), which serves as a data availability network and Side Chain Scaling Solution, that provides the basis for fast confirmation of transactions on a side chain. This is Alacris’ contribution to the problem of designing practical solutions that are so urgently needed for the crypto economy.

“By launching this to the open source community, we look forward to feedback and exciting projects forked from this codebase,” said Chris Swenor, Alacris CEO and Co-Founder. “Being a practical design that solves cryptocurrency challenges including speed and security, this is a really great start in generating ideas and partnerships. We expect to keep building on this and our next releases to fully realize our vision for an operating system that makes blockchain easy to use.”

The next Alacris alphanet release will be announced later this quarter, which will feature Alacrity, our Domain Specific Language (DSL). Both releases denote a major landmark for Alacris and its work toward blockchain adoption and will be the first release of project development. The scaling solution release represents Alacris’ work over the past year.
