As the sun sets behind the rugged peaks of the digital Klondike, the Alaska Gold Rush game shines bright, a testament to the great closed Beta community that has played a pivotal role in shaping its landscape. Over the past few months, our close beta phase has not only been a journey through the untamed wilds of Alaska, but also a story of collaboration and bringing valuable feedback by dedicated beta testers.

Three Builds, Many Improvements

Since the beta’s launch, we’ve rolled out three major builds, each reflecting the feedback and insights from our players. These builds have brought significant enhancements across the board:

  • User Interface Overhaul: Navigation is now more intuitive, ensuring that players can focus on striking gold rather than figuring out controls.
  • Map and Character Interactions Enhanced: We’ve refined the hitboxes on the map and for characters, making gameplay fairer and more responsive.
  • Matchmaking and Mobility: Finding suitable opponents is smoother with our improved matchmaking algorithms, and players can now experience enhanced running mechanics, making traversing the treacherous terrains of Alaska a breeze.
  • Streamlined Bug Reporting: With the introduction of bug reporting via the F5 key, we’ve made it easier for players to report issues, helping us squash bugs faster.

Gameplay Tweaks for a Balanced Experience

The latest builds have also introduced several adjustments to ensure a balanced and strategic play:

  • Revamped Scoring System: The introduction of negative points for death adds a layer of strategy, pushing players to be more cautious and tactical.
  • Weapon and Combat Adjustments: From increasing the delay between revolver shots to enhancing weapon accuracy, these changes are fine-tuning the combat experience to ensure satisfaction and fairness.

Visual and Interactive Enhancements

  • Improved Visibility and Interactions: We’ve disabled the red target sight for a more immersive experience and blocked jumping actions when stamina is too low, ensuring that every move is deliberate and critical.

Community at the Heart

What makes these developments truly remarkable is the involvement of our community. Each build has been a collaborative effort, with beta testers providing essential feedback that has directly influenced game development. This partnership has not only enriched the game’s features but has also created a game that feels personal and community-driven.

Looking Ahead

With each build, we edge closer to a game that not only captures the essence of the Gold Rush era but also makes the game ready for OPEN BETA. Again big thanks to our beta testers, Alaska Gold Rush is on track to be a game where history and technology meet to create unforgettable adventures.

Join us as we forge ahead, crafting a game that’s as dynamic and enduring as the gold mines it represents. Here’s to more builds, more feedback, and more gold!
