AMA RECAP

Alaska Gold Rush: Can you provide an Yesport overview of the current performance and recent tournaments?

Yessport: It’s an interesting structure because we have 11 partners in the project and we manage their tech and interactions, IP, etc. in web3. So one of the things we have learned is that we have 2 audiences. Web2 whom buys the memberships on our platform and they just access all the benefits like training with their team and tickets to events. Then we have web3 game users who interact with the platform in a web3 way. So when we house tournaments like the Mediterranean female tournament which has been a huge success a lot of that happens in the web2 world — it’s more about brand awareness so Yesports is known among web2 games. We are kind of attaching web3 brand to the web2 esport events etc.

Depending on the area 60% of south-east Asia has an interest in coming to web3 gaming as well as web2, and Europe and North America have this percentage much lower. So for European Esport teams it’s like 25% of conversion and we are happy and with Asia 40% is a good result.

Alaska Gold Rush: How do web3 games want to address or even capitalize those fans?

Yesports: That’s a big question we are still evaluating.
I’ll start with separation from web2 and web3 gaming which has almost stopped — there are really great games coming up (like Alaska) and it’s not a big difference between web3 and web2 gaming there. You are just going to play a great game with a great story. From the company’s point of view, it’s the same — you just want to sell the items in the game and improve the gaming experience. We’ll get behind NFTs — we will just have a great item in the game such as a pickaxe in the Alaska game. I think we don’t need to focus on selling NFTs — just great items in legendary games.

Gaming is expanding. I believe web3 is just the next expansion to the full experience.

Winners of the Industry Talks contest and answers

We invite all the winners of the Industry Talks contest to write us DMs on Twitter.

@itz_Mksanda:

As we play @alaska_game games will there be items that can be bought for upgrades?

If yes, is there a limit to it? Because players love a balanced and fair in-game economy or character/item stats

Response:

Yes, there are going to be items in Alaska Gold Rush, but never overpower the players. Also, the biggest goal of the game is to get riches, not to compete with other players. The competition will take place in arenas, but there the NFT items will not give unfair advantage — more of a cool look :)

@Web3wall
Trust is very important in any business, can you tell us about what makes investors, customers & users feel safe when working with Your project?

Both companies have gone through audits, and the Alaska Gold Rush token has been listed in some of the biggest exchanges in the world. When it comes to the game itself — it has been developed by the publicly listed company with many games already produced by the studio — Baked Games.

@itz_jasonic

As with most games after a while the players loses the drive to want to continue with the game. What solutions do you have to keep your players fully engaged with the game? Any future update to the game?

Check out our roadmap at https://alaskagoldrush.io/. We got many updates coming soon, and with many partnerships we have done we want the game to be very personalized and our players to feel extremely attached to their characters (we want to allow them to even scan themselves and get into the game!)
