But it is more than just benchmarking, many meaningful partnerships are sealed at such events. An example is ALAX — a partnership, forged between DECENT and Dragonfly, which we represented at the World Blockchain Forum in Dubai.
ALAX is aiming to tackle problems that do exist and complicate the life of both developers and end users, such as high fees, long settlement times and ease of access to unbanked people. Networking and talking about our idea resonated with people, especially with those who are familiar with the problem. They liked ALAX’s approach to the issue and were interested, just like we are, to see where it goes in the future.
The World Blockchain Forum was an interesting experience with a variety of concepts presenting their take on how blockchain can provide solutions that can transform different industries or solve their biggest difficulties. Blockchain technology is popular nowadays. It’s a fact. But to be honest, we’ve also seen projects that were trying to tackle non-existing problems, or problems that have a pretty good solution already.
Having an outstanding idea is the key. Once you have it, you are a few steps closer to your goals, and if you persist in your effort, success will find you. In this spirit ALAX is working hard on bringing fresh air to the gaming industry around the world.
