Hello there dear ALAX supporters! As you already know, our TGE has ended, the tokens are in the process of being distributed, and we are already listed on three exchanges with others in the pipeline. We also showcased our MVP and published an explainer video on how ALAX will work. That’s a great kick-off to an exciting project! But what do the upcoming months hold for ALAX? What is the team working on?
If you haven’t browsed through our whitepaper yet, here is a walk-through of our roadmap and the things we have planned for the foreseeable future.
Summer 2018/ Testnet
Our team of developers is working diligently on our ALAX Testnet, so it can be launched during the summer! For those of you who are not familiar with the word Testnet, it is a test version of the product. It allows our developers to experiment and try out different solutions, it also gives them a safe environment to test out their different theories and experimental features they can later on add to the final product if they turn out to be beneficial. We estimate that we will launch our Testnet sometime in July.
Fall 2018/ Mainnet and Store Beta launch
If you haven’t guessed from the previous paragraph by now, the Mainnet is the next step after the Testnet. That’s how the final product should function and work after most of the kinks are ironed out during the Testnet phase. The Mainnet will be the main network on which ALAX will run and function and we will be launching our Store Beta on it. The Store Beta will be similar to the final version of the store but with its capabilities limited for testing to see if everything functions as it should before we launch it into the world. According to our development team we should be launching both the Mainnet and the Store Beta by the end of Q3, probably in September.
Q1 2019
It is the event that we’ve all been waiting for! After so much hype and testing we will finally be launching the ALAX store! Gionee will launch smartphones with the ALAX store pre-installed and UTOO will have the ALA top-up cards ready. You’ll finally be able to exchange your ALX for ALA tokens and get your games. Hurray!
Since we mentioned exchanging tokens, don’t forget there is a 20% bonus for exchanging ALX for ALA on our internal exchange! We’re already listed on three exchanges — Qryptos, CREX24 and Coinbene, with more listings to be announced soon!
