Alchemic Vibes

Paracelsus (1493–1541), a Swiss alchemist who rejected the foundation of the European medicine during the Middle Ages which was based on the idea that all diseases were caused by an imbalance of the four humors in the body: Blood, phlegm and yellow and black gail. It was widely accepted that health could be restored by correcting the imbalance by bleeding, purging or sweating. Paracelsus believed instead that health was based on the harmony between the microcosm — man, and the macrocosm — Nature. He theorized that a doctor would need to be a philosopher to truly understand the cause and effect of disease and trust ones own intuition rather than blindly rely on what was taught by others or written in books. He was a pioneer in introducing chemistry to medical science — he created his tinctures using alchemical processes such as solution, evaporation, precipitation and distillation.

July in a nutshell

* True alchemic summer was kicked off with the first inflation event of the newly launched Aludel 1.5 reward program.

* As K.Tsiolkovsky put it “Earth is the cradle of humanity but one cannot live in the cradle forever” — same goes for Crucible that matured past its childhood when it started to support Ampleforths Geyser reward program allowing for the crucible holders to subscribe simultaneously to Aludel as well as Geyser.

* Ampleforth AMA was held in relation to the collaboration mentioned above along with the digital collectible distribution to the participants.

* Reworked Crcuible UI was launched that makes the management and overview of multiple reward programs more intuitive.

* Alchemist Chaos Lab was launched — a new premises within the Alchemist halls that allows for certified alchemists to go crazy with out of the box experiments
