Its force is above all force, for it vanquishes every subtle thing and penetrates every solid thing.

The cryptic texts of the Emerald Tablet are thought to contain secrets to the Philosophers Stone. Isaac Newton, Albertus Magnus and other known alchemists of the past are known to have studied these ancient verses tirelessly. It is almost impossible to date the Emerald Tablet or Tabula Smaragdina exactly but the texts appear in many early medieval arabic sources and are attributed to the mythical hellenistic figure Hermes Trismegistus. One of the most famous commentaries to the tablet was written by a medieval alchemist called Ortolanus and is titled „Liber super textum Hermetis“. So – It’s time to head to the library!

Each month one of the alchemists working in our labs gets a bit of limelight and this month we went after Stew and managed to convince him to spill a bit of the beans and his vision of the future:

Q: Tell us a bit about your background and yourself
A: I’m old and have a background in tea making and corporate finance. I gave up full-time work 4/5 years ago to look after my son and stumbled into crypto.
Q: Which projects are you working on right now within our labs?
A: Top secret 🙂
Q: Tell us a bit how you envision the future of Alchemist.
A: The speed at which crypto develops is astounding so I wont be making any predictions – people can see for themselves the eco-system that Alchemist is building. Look at what has been built in such a short time already.
All of our core products, Crucible, mistX and Copper are amazing and have so much potential, we have exceptional people across all of Alchemist.
Each day that goes by one of our builders/community comes up with a great idea and I’m particularly excited to see the Alchemist Fractal take off.
What do I think the future of Alchemist will be? – The future of France. 🍵

New followers has seen a steady month by month growth and September set a new record with an impressive half a million impressions. Big eyes takes the prize as a top mention while OlympusDAO and KlimaDAO related entry is the tweet of the month. On average we tweeted close to 5 times a day, so indeed the Twitter scholars have been busy transmuting words and images into impressions, followers and visitors.
