How to stake eGold with Alchemy Capital using the Delegation Dashboard

Elrond Staking Phase 3 is just around the corner. Here’s what you need to do in order to stake your eGold with Alchemy Capital.

Before March 26, 2021

1. Prepare your wallet
   Before staking you will need to transfer your EGLD to a wallet that you own and control. If you don’t have an EGLD Wallet yet, head over to Elrond web wallet and create one now!

⚠️ It is of paramount importance that you safely backup your private keys. Nothing can be done anymore if these are lost.

2. Make sure you have funds in your wallet

• If you own EGLD on a crypto exchange (like Binance, Bitfinex or Crypto.com), make sure you transfer the funds into your private wallet that you own and control. See exchange’s withdrawal feature.
• If you already have your EGLD in your wallet and you are on the waiting list, make sure you withdraw from the waiting list. This operation is done instantly and the funds will be available in your wallet.
• If you already have your EGLD in your wallet and you have them on active delegation, you can initiate the withdrawal and wait for 10 days, then finalize your withdrawal. You won’t be able to be among the first people who stake eGold on March 26.😔

In other words, make sure you have your EGLD fund readily available in your wallet. Check the “Available” tile on the web wallet dashboard.

3. Join our Telegram group here: https://t.me/AlchemyCapital and wait for our announcement. We will post it as soon as the delegation contract is up and running and our delegation dashboard is ready.

Big news! Today is the day!

You have your eGold ready to be staked and the time is NOW! Please wait for our official announcement on the Telegram group (https://t.me/AlchemyCapital). We’ll post it as soon as the delegation contract is up and running!

Then, follow this guide:

Head over to our website: https://alchemy.capital and click on the Dashboard button in the upper right corner.

You now have to authenticate on Elrond Web Wallet. Click Wallet button to authenticate.

You have now been redirected to https://wallet.elrond.com where you need to proceed with the authentication flow you are already used to. (The url in this screenshot is for demonstration purposes only. On March 26, when our delegation manager contract will be deployed, you’ll be redirected to https://wallet.elrond.com)

After authentication, you are redirected back to https://staking.alchemy.capital where you will see your Delegation Dashboard. Click on the Delegate button to customize the delegation transaction.

You can choose the amount of EGLD you want to delegate, or just click on Max if you want to delegate all the eGold that is available in your wallet. Click Continue afterwards. Please note that on our screenshots we used testnet data, so the currency is represented as xEGLD. In your staking flow you will only use EGLD as the base currency.

Now the staking transaction is pre-filled with the appropriate data. You need to Confirm and send it in order to be processed.

This transaction usually takes around 30 seconds to process. Don’t go anywhere, just patiently wait until you get a transaction confirmation.

Congratulations! You have now staked your funds with Alchemy Capital.

You can now see the Active Delegation information any time on your Delegation Dashboard: https://staking.alchemy.capital
