Body jamming without borders

After a two-year hiatus, our leadership teams across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand & Australia reunited in Singapore this November for 2.5 days of body jamming without borders. This year’s A25 also marked the first time external speakers, who are leaders in their respective fields, were invited to share their thoughts on topics like composable architecture and total experience.

Create the future, don’t worship the past

Following a night of laughter & smiles with friends old and new, Aleph’s CEO, Arvind Singh, kicked off the first day of the Conference reflecting on certain moments in his personal journey over the past year that have galvanized his vision for Aleph moving forward. He emphasized the three key areas that Aleph continues to focus on: the composable ecosystem, delivering a total experience for our clients and CreativeEngineering as our main value propositions.

Future technologies without neglecting humanity

Our first external speaker was the President of WPP Australia & New Zealand, Rose Herceg who stressed the importance of always prioritizing the human element in adapting any new technologies. She also placed an emphasis on customer service excellence, of never being satisfied with our work and always looking at ways to consistently improve for the better.

Universal Product Engine

Thought Machine’s Partnership Director for APAC, Niraj Marfatia presented on Thought Machine’s composable ecosystem, Vault Core which enables banks to run any products they wish for a greater freedom to control and shape their strategies. With clients such as Lloyds Bank and Mox Bank of Standard Chartered, Thought Machine is one of the leaders in the banking industry for core transformation.

Head in the Clouds

Haley Zhu, Mambu’s Head of Partnership for APAC presented us with a few case studies of Mambu’s implementation in Southeast Asian Countries and Australia. As a rapidly expanding cloud-native banking core in the market, Mambu has launched more than 200 products within the 12 years of its existence. The composable approach is also at the heart of its banking core.

Digital first, human always

Chee Seng from NTUC presented how, with help from Aleph, its online to offline platform has managed to embed human interaction at its core. Users are able to browse through life insurance plans digitally, after which they can request for a 15 minute video call with an agent. This distinct business model has achieved great results, and Aleph is excited for more online to offline transformations in the future.

Putting humans at the heart of design

Developed by AKQA, Action Audio draws on tennis ball monitoring using computer vision to emphasize key moments of play that helps visually impaired tennis fans to follow the speed and action of live tennis matches. Presented by Eric Orton, Chief Technology Officer of AKQA, this award-winning design inspired many Alephians present to always put the humans first in design.

Fast cars & golden opportunities

The last speaker of the day was Paul Ostryzniuk, Group Creative Director of AKQA who showcased remarkable works; Rolls-Royce’s interaction design as well as a documentary on gold for the World Gold Council. Paul has led the transformation of Rolls-Royce digital retail experience that saw over 40% increase in revenue. Adopting a seamless strategy in customer interaction and retail behavior, it truly was a breakthrough in the luxury car industry. He also presented his work on a documentary for the World Gold Council, The Golden Thread, a landmark immersive documentary on the impact of gold across 10 multidisciplinary fields.

Regional — From strength to strength.

The second day of the A25 Conference was all about exchanging ideas & opportunities as well as aligning on the future of Aleph between leadership teams from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Australia & Thailand. Ensuring a continued focus on Total Experience and CreativeEngineering.

Year-end madness

What better way to end the conference than to play together at Singapore’s Interplay; Aleph’s first year-end party. New faces & old faces alike interacted and played together in a night of supercharged fun, closing our 2022 chapter and looking forward to kickstarting 2023 with a bang.
