Aleph Celebrates Equality
For almost a decade, International Women’s Day has always been a significant day for Alephians to look beyond the surface, promote equity, and celebrate women. It is also a day to remind ourselves that we should continue to push for a more inclusive space for everyone; the same chances and equal opportunities for all. This is a continuous and intentional process.
We took a look into our own world, our people, the work that we do, and the micro-decisions that we make every day that influence our culture.

We’ve Got Soul. We Shall Uplift.
This year, we continue to celebrate women, raise awareness and take action for equality. The 2022 IWD theme — #BreakTheBias — speaks about creating a gender-equal world that is free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination. We adopted this theme and made it Aleph.
The first thoughts that came about through our jamming sessions were that Women of Aleph possess capabilities that empower them to take action on many levels. And we wanted to create something special and extraordinary for them. One that symbolises the conquering of challenges. One that allows them to empower others.
In line with our value of innovation, we developed a gift that is one-of-a-kind — an NFT for each of the ladies. Not just any NFT though. We created representations of each individual into dynamic NFTs which we call “souls”. Each Soul of Aleph symbolises a special character — Buddy, Captain, Crafter, Solutionist or Warrior. They live in a state of eternity, with the power to touch lives, streaming donations specifically to women who are in need of financial support, from selected charity organisations.
This does not stop here. We know that this has to be a continuous process for any progress. In mid-2022, we will be checking in again.
