AlephTGTR – Creative Summit 2022
What do you get when a bunch of wacky creatives finally reunite, raring to jam over brilliant ideas? A power-packed creative summit, bursting with passion, innovation, and vision.
This August, our creative leadership across Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam, stepped out of the shadows of the endemic, into the light of connection. The creative jams that transpired behind closed doors and Zoom rooms in the last 3 years, finally broke out into 2.5 days of hyperconnectivity, thought-leadership sharings, and tons of food and fun.
Reimagining the Creative Engineer TGTR
Alephian. Creative Engineer. These terms are now synonymously used when talking about the individuals we are here at Aleph. But really, who are we? Creative individuals who understand engineering systems? Craftsmen and women who engineer experiences wherever we go? Makers who continuously challenge the stereotype of #pixelmonkey and #mousepusher? The self-discovery journey is not easy as we dig deep and realign our teams. However, it is a necessary one we undertake as we dream and create tomorrow, TGTR.
From user experiences to total experiences
As future thinkers leading the charge on change at every turn, we now owe it to ourselves and our users to provide experiences that exist beyond our screens. The TGTR Creative Summit pushed us as leaders to articulate a bold new vision: from end-to-end, it’s time we owned the frontstage as well as we’ve prototyped our backends. Service design, Islamic banking, the power of design systems, and web3. These are the steady steps that are leading us into the unknowns of creating human-centred, total experiences for our users.
We also took a deep dive into our younger creative tracks like research, content, and motion design. As we learned about their growth and intentions, we’re excited to journey alongside them as they dream big to create better, more holistic experiences.
Sweating TGTR. Slaying TGTR.
It is often said that inspiration can hit you whenever, wherever. In the midst of our packed summit schedule, we found the space to retreat into the lush grounds of Fort Canning Park, where the air was buzzing with conversations and the sounds of nature.
The team that sweats TGTR, slays TGTR. Scaling the walls and whimsies of this iconic park here in Singapore, our creative muscles were put to the test through various team tasks. From balance beams, to discovering the more flexible sides of ourselves, exploring the wonders of nature TGTR gave us space to appreciate and draw inspiration from everyday life.
What a great continuation into our #AlephTGTR journey! And there’s no better way than to do it with our regional creative family, all TGTR in one room. If the power-packed 2.5 days were any indication of how the road ahead is going to be, we’re tingling with excitement as we bring the best of our jams and intentions back into our home studios.
