my name is mark, likely not a real one but who cares
started explorin crypto with zerocoin protocol implemenations back in the days
after certain attempts to work with zcoin, gave up on idea of btc core forks private contributions and switched to evms
a lot of friends were contributing to cake, so yeah, from there we picked up an idea to create a defi hub on bsc
made an ifo, did initial steps
now slowly preparin to expand on other chains

chief boomer. im doin strategic planning mostly with @mrkalmari we plan and help the team to execute the steps. id say some things im proud of is securing pancakeswap ifo, on-boarding gate.io, 3 commas, hacken as partners

Thanks for the brief introduction, Please give us an introduction about your project and what is the core idea of the project? When did you start working on the project?

with couple frens, we started working roughly a year ago with a simple idea
we were simply tired of switchin from protocol to protocol, comparing apys, losing on diff fees, etc etc
so essentially we decided to take a look at the defi and nft markets and see whats gud out there and since then we try to take that good, fit it into non-dumpin tokenomics, and combine it into the ecosystem of products.
now, once we r ready to roll out new products and support new chains, we r doing this — series of amas here and there tho in year we already have workin and audited products:

- yield farmin — apy on stables anywhere from 15–25%
- nft fundraiser with physical backings

but the fun is actually startin around next week

Now that we have a little info on the project let’s hear about the Kalmar team. How many members is your core team made of? What’s their backgrounds, and experiences? How long have you been working together?

8 full time devs, 3 full time designers + me + kalmari
8+3+1+1, i guess 13
idk, we r anons, so just go check out what we did in terms of products (backend), visuals (like nfts)
its ez to notice one thing on ui — we dont fork stuff like idiots
we actually do every product from ground
*drawback — its slower and expect bugs

tldr, we aggregate on our routing algo (currently doin somethin that few do — economics audit)
then we add 6 kalm token pools to it and then we mix it all together; as a result the best of 2 worlds

There have been a number of NFT based projects in the market. What makes Kalmar unique that will attract users and investors over other NFT and Metaverse projects? The next question here

we did host the original sale we did drop some seasonal nfts for stakers+active community members
then we did xmas sales (all profits went to buyback kalm or add liquidity)
we r classic guys, so we like utility or physical backing in all we do
with that in mind, we’ll be addin gallery and explorin nft markets aggregator options (explorin!)

tldr instead of droppin native token on public as a mining incentive like crazy
we take it slower and carefully implement kalm in products after those r actually deployed
turns out, defi can work this way as well lol
so yeah, in leveraged farming, we did a bit of burning mechanics
now we have reviewed ohm bonds mechanics incoming to push burn+liquidity
after that we’ll start pushin the use case further once the platform gets more sustainability in terms of liquidity
as a result, long term it should be many useful products, incentivized with small amounts of highly valuable kalm, that, on top, thanks to products use, gets deflationaty
its a lot of balancing but we r slowly gettin there
next weeks update is key for tokenomics execution

but we give a lot to community members, so i surely forgot something
anyways, the next big thing is liq pools and bonds
no rebases on bonds, no floor price but instead, the lp tokens can be used to simply buy a discounted locked kalm
this will trigger a long awaited liquidity boost and whoever understands economics — product+liquidity is gud
thats why im here today
to tell u this alpha (and ofc to grow kalmarians family)
pure product-wise, aggregtor to be dropped around the same time and we promise it’ll be great

I believe that the key element that the DeFi market now needs is a Multi-chain platform linking all the major blochains. is this planned for Kalm?

Agree, multi-chain is surely a big move as of now.

Yes, we do plan to go multi-chain and soon, to be exact in the next update we put our tentacles on Fantom and Avax.

I’m not exactly sure about every major blockchain, at least not for now. We take it one step at a time, and depending on the results of our first multi-chain endeavor, we’ll then decide if more chains are better.

In recent months or weeks, there have been many failed and disappearing projects (SCAM) because the tokens have decreased in price or become ashes, how can convince us not to do that, what are the ways to make your coin price stable?

I don’t know the explanation of Kalmar’s products, ie. NFT Fundraiser and Kalmy Cheat’s Code. Can you explain those two?

The NFT Fundraiser is a rather simple product.

A short explanation: a project/company/influencer can raise funds on our platform for their cause, be it a marketing campaign, charity, anything. Our NFT Fundraiser product is then used to raise funds for that cause, by initiating a fundraiser in which the Kalmarians that raise the funds are rewarded with NFTs that can be burned to claim tangible rewards by the party that’s raising the funds.

For example one real world application could be a traveling company raising funds, and as rewards they offer multiple tiers of rewards, such as free trips, 50% discount, etc. The Kalmarians that raised the funds can then burn the NFT they received to claim the rewards, or sell it on the open market.

As for Kalmy’s Cheat Codes, that’s not actually a product but it will be one of $KALM’s many use-cases.

idk, we spend a lot of time for stuff testin different ux layouts in figma
we as well look towards fiat on-ramps
we want more normies
but im not gonna lie, its hard (i assume for all defi)

What would you do if current investors only care about token prices but don’t care about project developments? Is your project only concerned with elite investors? Is it open to all investors?

for example, recent bonds release was delayed cause our audit partners helped us find a bug

Still unsure if this feature is going to be implemented right from the start, as we’re still testing out different styles of limit orders (in terms of code), but yes, it will 100% be a feature of KalmySwap nonetheless.
