This past month was filled with new partnerships and AMAs with Laura Shin, Huobi, Gate.io, and others, a major announcement for Intelligence Training Rewards for iNFTs, a deep dive blogpost by Decentralised.co that covers the AI Protocol ecosystem, community-oriented initiatives like educational Twitter space with some industry leaders, contests, and more!
Generative AI and the AI Protocol as the definitive property rights backbone
As the “Dawn of the Generative Age” materializes, the rising popularity of Generative AI has led to an explosion of various generative AI systems, tools, models, and applications. Where do users of the technology stand in the whole equation?
The industry has received legitimate concern of mass exploitation initiated by companies in various forms like dataset theft, lack of incentivization, no IP rights protection, centralized governance, etc. However, Web3 systems are ready to offer a tech infrastructure that guarantees that users can have a voice, incentive, and ownership opportunities.
Decentralised.co published “Generative AI & Web3,” a deep dive research piece on the AI Protocol’s ecosystem. The piece highlights the importance of bringing ownership to Generative AI through a property rights layer and a community-owned decentralized ecosystem.
As the property rights backbone of a decentralized Generative AI revolution, the AI Protocol enables the creation, interoperability, and governance of AI Characters and Generative Assets — the building blocks of tomorrow’s intelligent world. The AI Protocol being the property rights layer not only allows for a human fingerprint-like unique identity feature to the Generative AI assets, but also helps establish fair incentivization mechanisms for the users who provide datasets to train the AI models.
As the need for a democratic ownership layer like the AI Protocol becomes more evident through AI Literacy, we are witnessing more conversations emerge and are participating actively to educate the communities. The exponential growth of the AI Protocol and our community growth has also filled the hallways of the world’s first intelligent Metaverse, Noah’s Ark, with renewed enthusiasm and engagement.
The Revenant Dracula is now gracing the BlockMuse’s gallery with his presence, and the Revenant Mera Takeru generated his AI twin brother using mycharacter.ai. Our community member Sassy has also been creating ethereal artwork with Aura, her level 4 iNFT.
All those who participated in the Shared and Individual Intelligence Training periods can now opt in to be able to convert Intelligence Training Reward Credits into Convertible Credits at NoahsArk.ai. Please note that the deadline to opt-in is March 20th, 2023.
Convertible Credits are credits that you can utilize in the Noah’s Ark ecosystem, or you can convert the credits to ALI Utility Tokens. Non-Convertible Credits (i.e. Pod Staking Rewards, etc.) are non-convertible to the ALI Utility Tokens but can always be utilized in the ecosystem to level up Intelligence Pods and to create content using iNFTs.
If you are eligible and wish to join the program to be able to change to Convertible Credits quarterly over the next 3 years, you can opt in as follows:
- Log in to Noahsark.ai, go to your wallet, and select the ‘Intelligence Training Rewards’ on the sidebar.
- If you have not completed KYC yet, you must complete the KYC verification for the conversion of Intelligence Training Rewards Credits into convertible credits.
- If you have completed KYC before, or once your KYC is confirmed, you will see the ‘Opt In’ button on the page. There, you can opt into the Program and the quarterly conversion coming later in March.
Please note that you will need to opt in each quarter to be applicable for changing your Individual Intelligence Reward Credits to Convertible Credits. However, if you do not opt in for one quarter, those rewards will stay non-convertible Credits. You will remain eligible to opt-in for the next quarter.
The Pod Staking campaign will be officially ending on March 31st, 2023. If your Intelligence Pods are staked, please ensure to claim your current pod staking rewards before March 31st, 2023.
