I Started Tracking My Habits & Mood for 6 Months — This is the Impact
On August 1st, 2023 I started tracking the daily habits that I believed would have the greatest impact on my mood and make an outsized impact on the goals I have in life.
If you have read any of my other articles like 2020 — Not so Bad, but Not so Good or 3 Ways You Might be Sliding, Not Deciding, in Your Life, you know how driven and ambitious I am… I fucking hate the idea of being complacent or comfortable in life.
It is odd because I would not at all consider myself “Type A” in almost any aspect of my life. I am not that “competitive” in sports or necessarily “high energy,” instead I am extremely “go-with-the-flow” and “calm,” almost to a fault sometimes.
My favorite type of trip is a trip where we have no plans booked, maybe even only a hotel booked for the first couple of nights… The freedom you have and flexibility throughout the trip is the best.
That type of trip is not Type A at all…
However, regarding my goals and living the best life, I am extremely detail-oriented and almost treat it like how I treat my professional career.
In this blog, I’m going to detail how I have started tracking my habits and some of the results I have noticed.
