Puget Sound Madrone I
Bill’s family has kept a cabin on the Totten Inlet of Puget Sound for decades. His parents seeded the rocky beach in front of the cabin with clams some 50 years ago. So the annual clam feast he throws is always well-endowed with clams. A grand Pacific Madrone tree shades the picnic table on the grassy rise above the beach. It’s an ideal spot to while away a summer afternoon.
This is the study piece for a commission I hope to land later this year.
