This is the second in a series of eight mosaic stepping stones, made using an indirect technique, without grout. I added pigments to a white Versabond thinset, equal parts Madiera (red ochre), Tucson (yellow ochre) and ultramarine blue. Tesserae are a mix of 5mm & 6mm stones: blue ice, claret red, Aegean gold, China white, and copper yellow.
