Results of the first DAO vote of AlgoDAO are out!
Context: the voting process
To recap, three options were given around the unstaking fee topic:
A: Unstaking Fee remains the same (5% flat fee)
B: Unstaking Fee is removed.
C: Unstaking Fee diminishes over 6 month period from the moment of stake.
The vote was conducted from 29th March to 5th April 2023, by sending 0.1 ADAO to wallets set up for this specific purpose.
Vote #1 Results
Option A received a total of 39,502 votes (1 ADAO = 1 vote) from 3 qualifying addresses.
Option B received a total of 12,142 votes from 3 qualifying addresses.
Option C received a total of 24,818 votes from 9 qualifying addresses.
Option A (keeping the unstaking fee at 5%) is therefore retained.
