M.N.G.O Drop Becomes Biggest ever Algorand NFT Launch

The M.N.G.O NFT series by Stitchbob has become the biggest ever Algorand NFT Launch with 148,684.74 algo worth of volume and counting with a floor price off 80 Algos. The series features Flamingos with a variety of traits as a nod to the popular Algorand DeFi app Yieldly. The first drop of the MNGO have all been released and are now available for purchase from the secondary market.

Borderless Capital purchase artwork from Sophia the Robot for $5mil HKD

An art series produced by AI-powered android Sophia the Robot has been purchased by Borderless Capital for $5mil HKD in an auction this week. The series includes both physical and digital art with the NFT component generating a new AI-created digital image each year. The purchase by Borderless Capital means that Sophia’s NFTs will be integrated onto the Algorand blockchain.

“We are particularly happy that the work was acquired by Borderless Capital, and we look forward to minting her NFTs on Algorand,” says Hanson Robotics CEO David Hanson.

“For Sophia to integrate Algorand blockchain tech is particularly exciting for the future of digital art and AI with Sophia, given our values of being environmentally friendly and Algorand being the only carbon negative blockchain available today.”

Algorand executives embrace Algo House caricatures

Algorand’s founder Silvio Micali, Chief Operating Officer Sean Ford, and Head of Marketing Keli Callaghan have all recently changed their profile pictures on Twitter to super-saiyan style caricatures. The artwork was created for a larger Algo Saiyans series by Algo House which is currently enjoying a weekly sales volume of 2560 Algo and a floor price of 49 Algo. The series offers a wide range of artwork featuring prominent Algorand projects including Yiedly, Opulus, and Smilecoin as well as other rare caricatures of prominent Algorand figures such as Opulus CEO Lee Parson. Al Goanna attracts largest average price per NFT this week

Al Goanna has emerged this week as the most lucrative Algorand NFT on the market attracting the largest average price. The average price was 1856 Algos with 56 items sold so far. The Al Goanna series has already had 6 drops with a total of more than 457,242.61 Algos spent across that timeline. The Al Goanna project is also involved in charitable ventures whereby they are planting 10 trees for every NFT sold through the Australian company Carbon Neutral. Al Goanna have thus far been responsible for over 15,000 trees being planted.

Algoxnft.com launches

A new NFT marketplace selling exclusively Algorand NFTs has launched called Algoxnft. The site has already seen an influx of traffic and offers a diverse range ASAs. The platform also leverages Algorand smart contracts to ensure auctions are carried out as planned with an added layer of security.

History War and Al Goanna collaborate on Lizard People series

NFT artist History War has dropped a new series of NFTs call Lizard People. The series was made in collaboration with Al Goanna and the cards can be used in History War’s larger NFT trading game. The series is currently available on randgallery.

NFT project Algobees launched to help raise awareness for beekeepers

A new Australian based NFT project has been launched to help raise funds and awareness for beekeepers. The series titled ALGO-BEES is also using Bee artwork and terminology to symbolize Algorand and its inherent benefits through NFT traits and attributes. The project is currently working on developing a platformer video game with more information set to be released shortly.
