Pioneers of the worldwide blockchain revolution meet @ Alibre.io’s HQs

Last week we had our first AL Community meet up in Tijuana and it was a staggering success, with extraordinary people and speakers coming together to talk about one of their greatest passions.

You’ve guessed it: Blockchain!

[Mar 4th, 2019] The AL Community is a group of highly motivated people working on amazing Fin-tech & blockchain projects from around the world. Our mission is true global access and financial freedom that empowers people to achieve sustainability and their economic growth objectives.

Rafa Jimenéz, CEO of Alibre.io, was proud to introduce his good friends, Oleksii Matiiasevych and Griff Green, who are amazing pioneers and active leaders of the worldwide blockchain revolution. They are members of the White Hat Group (WHG), which protects the Ethereum ecosystem behind the scenes, most notably rescuing 10% of all ether in existence during The DAO Hack and $208 million dollars in the Parity Multisig Hack, which is how Griff and Oleksii first met.

Matiiasevych talked about blockchain as an introduction, followed by a discussion of private vs public blockchain, tokens and Ambisafe: a Global Capital Markets and Blockchain infrastructure provider. Green talked about Giveth: a community focusing on making the world a better place through the use of blockchain technology.

Let’s not forget about the savory octopus and marlin tacos, vegetarian ceviche and mezcal drinks catered by Tijuana’s Baja-Med restaurant Tras / Horizonte by Kokopelli.
