The beta version of Telegram cryptocurrency bot Alice-Bob was presented to the public at Blockchain UA
Blockchain UA is the biggest blockchain event in Ukraine, and this year it served as a launchpad for the newly-created GEO Protocol product:
Alice-Bob, a Telegram bot for cryptocurrency exchange and transfer. Well, at least for its beta version.
Technically, the beta of the product was launched a day before the Blockchain UA event, but the conference itself became the place where it was presented to the public for the first time.
And it was a success: almost everyone who came to the GEO Protocol stand was interested in the Alice-Bob bot and wanted to try it right away. And that was easy to do, since you don’t need to install anything additionally or go through a long registration/confirmation process. As long as you have your Telegram messenger ready, off you go!
Our team members worked hard the whole day explaining the benefits of GEO Protocol technology as well as Alice-Bob’s functions to everyone interested. As a result, more than a hundred people started the bot in their Telegram and got a little present (a small BTC transaction from the GEO team to their Alice-Bob wallets).
This way everyone could see how to get BTC in just two seconds and with no fee (compared to 30–60-minute wait time and transaction fee in the case of an ordinary on-chain transaction). Then you can exchange BTC to fiat currency right here in the Alice-Bob bot in just another two seconds. Then it takes a few more seconds to withdraw the fiat to your credit card. Of course this works the other way around too.

The Alice-Bob and GEO Protocol team was very excited by the conference itself and the great reception of our new product by the local crypto community.
Note that the beta version of the Alice-Bob bot for now works with BTC, ETH, DAI and UAH only. But USDT, EUR, RUB and other crypto and fiat currencies will be added during the next month.
