The Billionaire’s Reading List

There are more than 12 million books listed on Amazon.com.

As entrepreneurs and decision makers we have very limited time so we need filters to decide what content we will consume. The default is to ask our friends and colleagues for a recommendation or read the reviews on Amazon.

But unless the people in your circle (or the ones who write the reviews) are much more accomplished than you are, this might not be the smartest decision.

“Opinions are the cheapest commodities on earth.“ — Napoleon Hill

Instead, imagine this would be your bookclub:

Book Club consisting of Bill Gates, Kevin Systrom, Elon Musk, Sheryl Sandberg, Larry Page and Jeff Bezos

That’s why this blog has one filter, and one filter only:

This blog only contains content featuring or recommended by individuals with a net worth of over $1 billion.

Does this rule radically limit the number of available books for each topic? Yes.

But it does give you peace of mind and confidence in reading and applying the ideas and concepts presented.

For example, did you know that Jeff Bezos (CEO of Amazon) requires every executive at Amazon to read “The Goal: A Process of Ongoing Improvement”?

Larry Page (CEO of Alphabet) doesn’t write a lot of forewords but he did write one for “Measure What Matters”.

That’s why we started this blog with the goal to provide quality and believable recommendations. Feel free to contact us with more content you dug up and we’ll add it to the collection.

Why the $1 billion rule? Read more about our philosophy.
