Lots of usability improvements

For this release, we focused heavily on making some core usability improvements and bug fixes throughout the app. Here are a few changes worth highlighting:

Withdrawal Flow

We have revamped our withdraw flow to help make clear to our users where their money is at all times. Users can now see more information about how long it takes for their money to become available to withdraw from Alinea after making trades.

Portfolio Graph

We changed our portfolio graph line to now show both equity and cash balance. The absolute and percentage changes of your portfolio, however, will show the unrealized change of your current positions over the selected time frame.

Plaid Direct Authentication with OAuth

Many users have trouble linking their bank account to Alinea. So, we have now enabled users to login and connect directly to their banks with Plaid using OAuth 2.0 (with participating banks). To read more about this, check this out.

This new flow should reduce many problems with linking a bank account and help make the experience more seamless and secure than ever!

International Phone Number Fix

A small subset of users had issues on our sign in page when using a non-U.S. Phone number. Users can now press the flag next to the number and select the appropriate area code.
