Sell playlists, add funds flow and more!

Selling Playlists

We have added the ability for users to sell Playlists. When selling we use intelligent logic that will help you get closer to your desired weight.

For example, say you had invested in a playlist with Ethereum and Bitcoin weighted equally. Suppose over time, the stock prices had drifted in such a way that you now had 60% Ethereum and 40% Bitcoin. If you were to go and sell the playlist, we’d sell more Ethereum and less Bitcoin, so as to get you closer to your desired 50/50 weighting.

Add Funds Flow Improvements

Continuing on the usability improvements we made last release, we changed our Add Funds and Invest flows to make the process more clear and usable.

Particularly, when users are trying to invest and do not have funds added to their Alinea accounts, the Add Funds flow now pops up as a modal view and gives a helpful confirmation view before the user confirms the transfer.

Referral Codes

We are slowly starting to roll out referral codes, a much requested feature from our users. While the program is off at the moment, stay tuned over the next few weeks for more opportunities to get rewarded for sharing Alinea with your friends!
