Do Men Really Only Want Sex And Women Just Want Security?
No feminist bullshit, here’s my reflection
I’m so tired — no, I’m actually sick — of hearing the same tired spiel about what men and women want.
Everybody’s out here repeating that men just want to fuck and women only want security, as if we’re robots programmed with two different buttons. I think it’s utter stupidity.
You know what I think?
This whole conversation is a pathetic excuse not to face the raw reality staring us right in the face.
Because the truth is that both men and women want both things: they want awesome sex and they want to feel safe.
The difference lies in how each processes and expresses those needs.
Men don’t just want sex; they want validation through sex.
And that’s completely different.
When a guy wants to fuck, it’s not just because he’s horny. It’s because he needs to feel desired, powerful, relevant. Sex is the language he uses to say, “I’m still a man who matters.”
Is it pathetic? Maybe. But it’s human.
And women?
