Is Feminism Betraying Women?

I was thinking about this conversation I heard between three smart women discussing whether the movement that was supposed to liberate us isn’t actually screwing us over in epic fashion.
I’m single by choice, and I’ve seen enough life to know that things are rarely black and white.
But damn, did they sell women of my generation a bill of goods?
I’m not here to say we should go back to the 1950s. That would be stupid. But I also can’t pretend I don’t see what I see around me.
The sexual revolution promised us everything and delivered… what exactly?
Dating apps where we’re treated like sexual fast food?
Men who think that because we’re “free” they don’t need to make any effort anymore?
The issue isn’t sex itself. God forbid, I love a good fuck.
The problem is they convinced us that hooking up without commitment should be as casual as drinking coffee. But are we pretending to be machines when we’re human beings with hormones, emotions, and deep needs?
