Sex or Love?
What Really Drives You?
This is the question we all avoid asking ourselves.
Sex or love?
Like we have to choose between breathing through our nose or our mouth. But the truth is, most of the time, we really do have to choose.
You can pretend you don’t, you can convince yourself that you’ll find both in the same person, at the same time, forever.
But that’s Disney movie talk. Reality is way more raw.
Sex is urgency. It’s that thing that makes you lose track of time, space, everything. It’s primitive, animalistic, unfiltered.
You don’t need to know someone for years to want to take their clothes off. You don’t need to approve of their political views or their taste in music. You just need to feel that electricity, that tension that cuts through the air.
Love is construction.
It’s getting up every day and choosing that person, even when they’re annoying, even when you’re in a bad mood, even when routine has killed any trace of romance.
It’s partnership, it’s complicity, it’s knowing someone knows you better than you know yourself.
