Crocheting Blankets for Cats

I lost my memory but dang it all I can still crochet!

My crochet antennae went off when I read about Fran Tracy’s tenacity to crochet even though she forgets what she is doing.

Fran has early onset Alzheimers which affects the memory but not the creative part of the brain. Her daughter says that she’s crocheted all her life — she’s 88.

Crocheting blankets keeps her busy — she donated 50 blankets recently.

I’m half her age and I have to schedule time to crochet each day or I’ll miss out on my favorite hobby. I wonder, when I’m 88 will I still be able to crochet?
