Medium Issues Statement About Abysmal Earnings

There has been a lot of grumbling* from writers regarding plummeting earnings over the last few months. I would like to address this matter.

Unofficially, of course.

We are a for-profit business. You writers are our means, not our end. We like you ok, but we like our investors better. As inflation rises, we pay you less.

Better Internet* essentially means better profit. Be nice because we have a brand and image to maintain.

Play nice, write nice, speak nice. Better internet is nice internet.
