There Has Never Been a Worse Time To Write on Medium
I can almost hear something
In typical Trevaskis fashion, explained in her recent article how there has never been a better time to write on Medium:
Annie framed her statement as a belief, which is clever as one cannot scientifically disprove beliefs. However, it’s my belief that Annie is dead wrong, and I will prove it to you by using different reasons for different types of writers.
The first case is easy enough as it is Annie herself.

Medium is a distraction. Generally, all social media is a distraction, but Medium is worse because it doesn’t only steal your time as a spectator but also as a creator.
The few claps and comments you get distract you from your main goal.
Worse, the articles you will write for the platform will deplete your creative energy, and anyone who has experienced writing block knows how limited the supply is.
