Why I Was Wrong About Medium

And how a dream from the Future just explained why

You see that lovely fractal tree Ideogram 2.0 rendered? Fractals are fascinating. They enclose infinity inside a finite surface. Which sounds like a contradiction, but the math of their non linear equations are solid. They’re also a reason I was wrong about Medium.

Another reason is high level coding, which is intertwined with high level math. No, not set theory (booooring), I mean the good stuff. Imaginary and complex numbers in particular. Which also inform string theory in physics, but let’s leave that aside for another piece.

I read somewhere a month or so ago, I think on GitHub, how Medium was set up. I also peeked at their front level code (the one that’s publicly visible), via the show source option of Firefox.

I did not look at their back level code, nor do I plan to. That would be hacking, and I’m neither that good nor so shady. My dream from the future filled in the missing data.

In plain English Medium’s management did not pull a “traffic milking scam”, as I accused them directly and indirectly (via my Let’s take the money and run piece), nor do they plan to monetize remi, letters from rosie and the other…
