Sarafan.AI recognizes beauty products in a video
At Sarafan Technology Inc. part of what we do is recognizing beauty products based on our partners' videos. Let me walk you through the process, step by step and show you the power of Sarafan AI.
The first step is getting the content from our partner for analysis. This can be any language, format, and speed and whilst reading the video, we don’t change its end performance (for example speed or quality).
What actually happens is that the AI divides the videos into individual frames. The machine has been taught that when certain movements or products transpire, it is to snapshot it for analysis.
Therefore, our partner's 3-minute video about make up is our equivalent of 57 screenshots/frames.
Once we’ve got these individual frames, the Artificial Intelligence begins a two-stage verification process. The first stage is recognizing core human characteristics. For example, in this video, our AI reads eyebrows, ears, lips, and eyes among others.
Secondly, after collecting all these human characteristics the AI matches them with our product feeds and selects an appropriate product range for every individual face shown in the video.
The AI is so powerful that it shows a full range of make-up accessories including Face powder or concealers.
In the 3 minute video, we matched 48 products, which we’ll then choose as per our clients' instruction.
The only thing left to do at this stage is to connect our inspiration into an online purchase.
