A Moment of Peril Continues

All-Day Breakfast 210903 — A Moment of Peril — #325

A Moment of Peril was created in 1881 by the English sculpture Sir Thomas Brock. It depicts an indigenous American fighting with a giant snake. I took this at the Rosenborg Castle Gardens in Copenhagen in 2018. I have added a fake lens flare and snake teeth. I imagine the snake represents colonialism and the horse represents the natural world. I don’t believe this was Brock’s original intent.

All-Day Breakfast is a daily reflection on creativity and the human condition in the modern age. This is issue #325 of 555.

A quest for creative momentum; a daily reflection on our modern age and the human condition. Plus, you can order an omelette any time. #createmore
