Dear kind reader,

I regret to inform you that

I cannot be your mentor.

If you are looking for marketing advice, tech knowledge, self-help, self-improvement, entertainment news or commentary—I mean—my GOD there is a lot of excruciatingly good stuff out there. I follow as much as I am able, I take in as much as I can.

I am barely qualified to talk about myself, having completely replaced all the cells in my body more than once. Who is left, this persistent memory called Jason, this quintessence of data?

But here’s some solid advice I wish I’d figured out earlier: it’s not your job to be another version of someone else. You are NOT the next so-and-so. You are the first and only you. Be that. Figure out what that is and you will become my hero. I believe in you!

Find your thing and go ALL IN. What else is there? This isn’t selfish, btw, this is f**king ESSENTIAL. (Remember—always apply the oxygen mask to yourself first before attempting to help others.)
