All Star Code Expands into Pittsburgh, Increasing Access to the Tech Industry for Black and Latino Young Men

I’m proud to announce that All Star Code (ASC) has partnered with Chatham University to launch our fourth annual Summer Intensive (SI) for computer science in our first ever expansion city, Pittsburgh. This will be the first time ASC has partnered with an academic institution to host our Summer Intensive program, as previous host partners have been up until this point exclusively corporate.

This past week, members of our team were in Pittsburgh participating in various student recruitment activities, as well as drumming up support from members of the city’s growing tech community.
