My Intro📣
What better way to spice up a dreary ole Monday than with a piece I put my whole heart into?
I wanted to write another fiction story… and lucky for me there are tons of WONDERFUL writers on here that share writing prompts.
I’m still not at the point where I can come up with a story topic on my own… creativity takes time.
Chelsea Marie published an article with three different Fiction Prompts to check out. She calls this challenge a Writing Journey and though I suck at rules, I’ll try it out!

You open your new library book to chapter one, and see one sentence scrawled across the page: “Finally, you’ve found us.”
It’s been a long week. I’ve worked my 45 hours, picking up that double on Thursday night, and I’m ready to relax. Thank God the library is open until 7pm, I still have time to grab my weekend fix: a new book.
Traffic was ass on the way here, that’s what I get for living in downtown LA. But, it was fine, I gave myself plenty of time to get here, pick my new 3% of a tree, and checkout. Of course, there were many genres I could pick from: Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction, Romance (obviously the extra spicy stuff if I were to choose), Murder Mystery, and tons more. But today, I felt like reading a Historical Non-Fiction. Let’s be clear, I NEVER want to learn about the past, but this book just looked… different.
Making my way to the front I admired the leather binding and cover, the textures branded in, and the gold dusted wording that read We’re Still Here: The Range War of 1977. The title struck me weird because as far as my history-buff boyfriend was concerned, the only war going on in that time was the Mozambican Civil War, and that was obviously civil war that could also be considered a proxy war (depending how you look at it), but NOT a range war.
I set the book down and the librarian eyed me curiously, “I can’t say I’ve ever seen someone check this out. In fact, my computer…
