Robinson Jr. is apparently in stable condition.

After a dismal pre-season showing from former Washing Commanders’ RB1 Antonio Gibson, Brian Robinson Jr. seemed destined to replace the running back as Washington’s first choice in their run-game. Unfortunately though, Robinson Jr. is now under medical surveillance after he was shot at least twice during an armed assault. Obviously, the timetable for his return is extremely tentative and indefinite, but hopefully the prospect will make a speedy recovery. As a result, the Commanders may severely lack a grounded offense, as J.D. McKissic is next up in the pecking order, even though he is thrown the ball around as much as he runs it.
