6 Christmas Themed Reading Challenges!!!
Is there anything better than achieving a goal and enjoying your hobby at the same time. I created these challenges to try to encourage people to have a reading-filled holiday season as well as to try.
These challenges are not just about reading books, you can read any piece of literature, books, short stories, plays and poetry!
Try something new this festive season!
These challenges are adaptable for busy lifestyles to make them adaptable for you!
6 Christmas Reading Challenges
1. 12 Books of Christmas Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read 12 books, novellas, plays and/or poetry in the days leading up to Christmas or the new year!
2. Santa's 9 Reindeer Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read 9 pieces of literature i.e. books, novellas, plays and/or poetry all from authors and writers who you have never read before.
3. 3 Wise Men Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read 3 self help books from any author this holiday to help bring you into the new year refreshed ,energized and motivated to try to be your best self.
4. All Around the World in One Night Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read books from unfamiliar countries and cultures that you have not read from before for the whole of December.
5. S.A.N.T.A Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read books starting with each letter of the word Santa, thus you will have read 5 books at the end. First book starting with S, and the final book starting with A.
6. “All I Want for Christmas Is You” Challenge
To complete this challenge you need to read books that you have been dying to read and have not gotten around to yet. Find 5 books that you have found or seen someone on BookTok or Bookstagram and read them in December.
Final Thoughts
While completing a challenge this Christmas season is by no means necessary, it can be very satisfying to achieve one last goal before the end of the year.
