Beauty and the Beast is a classic Disney tale about an arrogant young prince and his castle’s servants who fall under the spell of a wicked enchantress, who turns him into a hideous Beast until he learns to love and be loved in return. A village girl Belle enters the Beast’s castle after he imprisons her father Maurice and takes his place. With the help of his servants, Belle turns the cold-hearted Beast into a loving one. The Beast releases Belle after she finds out Gaston, a man demanding Belle to marry him, has sent her father to an asylum. Belle reaches her father but inly to find out Gaston has gone to kill the Beast. She saves her father and sets off to save the Beast. When she arrives, Gaston is already at the Beast and she tries to stop him but Belle is to late. By the time she can reach the Beast, she has already been stabbed by Gaston. Right before he dies Belle tells him she loves her and the curse is broken. The Beast transforms into a beautiful prince and all the servants turn back into human form. Everyone lives happily ever after.

There are many life lessons to learn from this movie. The main lesson is that true beauty comes from within. The reason the Beast was put under the spell was because he only cared about himself and people that looked good on the outside. The curse was broken when he finally learned to love again. Another life lesson was to never stop learning. Belle is the only person in her small village that knows how to read and enjoys it. Even with all the shame the village brings on her, she still does what she loves. When she meets the Beast and he shows her his library, Belle finally shares the love to read with someone. The last life lesson in this movie is to look beyond first impressions. When Belle first comes to the castle, the Beast is intimidating and angry to everyone and everything. After awhile, the Beast becomes kind and caring and shows how thoughtful he really is. If Belle had run away after the first day, she never would have fallen in love with the real Beast.
