She defeats one of the greatest feared leaders in the movie and receives a medal for doing this. When she returns home, her family becomes proud and she feels she is finally accepted.

It is important for all children to watch this movie because it shows a girl can do whatever she wants to, if she puts her mind to it and works hard to accomplish this dream. The people and animals around her during the war believe in her and want her to do her best. Having this support helps her to achieve her goals and dreams. Gender equality is a topic that is focused on during this film and a main reason this movie is encouraged to be watched by all ages. Many parents have caution towards their children watching this movie because it includes war scenes. There are scenes of gun and cannon shots as well as someone getting stabbed.
