In the match against the Cowboys, Carson Wentz threw for two touchdowns as well as three two-point conversions after the Bird’s kicker, Jake Elliott was pulled out due to a head injury in a 37–9 victory on Sunday night.

With this win, the Eagles continue their eight-game winning streak with a record now of (9–1). This streak is tied for the best current run in the NFL.

Dallas’ quarterback Dak Preskott threw a total of three interceptions, this being his career high. The Cowboys were also missing star player Ezekiel Elliot, as he is suspended for six games due to alleged domestic violence. The Cowboys (5–5) are now four games back with only six to play.

In a postgame interview Preskott said, “We’re not saying injuries or any of that’s bothering us. We’re not saying it’s the reason we’re not winning is because of those guys.”

At halftime, Philadelphia trailed the Cowboys 9–7, until Wentz and the Eagle’s offense rebounded to score 30 points in the second half. In a post game interview Wentz stated, “I think it just shows we’re resilient, I think we knew coming into the locker room at halftime that we left a lot out there. I think we knew we were much better than that, and that we just had to go execute.”

This win makes it nearly impossible for the Birds to not make it to post-season this year. Next up for the Birds is a home game against the Bears, followed by away games against the Seattle Seahawkes and the Los Angeles Rams.

“We don’t really think about all that, we just think that we got the Bears next week,” Wentz explained. “Win the day, that’s what it’s all about. So hopefully we can just keep this thing rolling.”
