Most of you have no idea what it takes to be an Olympian, and I’m not talking about athletic abilities and special talent.
I’m talking about the financial strain the Olympic dream puts on athletes and their families. Most players accumulate tremendous debt to train their bodies and condition their minds to win gold, leaving barely any time to hold any job that can sustain them while training.

Simone Biles and millionaire basketball players are exceptional. To reach the peak of their sports, many Olympians make financial sacrifices, put their careers on hold, and cobble together a living around their training schedules. This impacts their ability to make money.
Veronica Fraley, a discus thrower on Team USA, recently shared on social media that she’s struggling to make ends meet and asked her fans for financial assistance.
