Male and Female Infertility

Infertility is a problem when you are not able to conceive. A normal couple has 25% chances of conceiving in a single cycle lasting one month, but it is not necessary that the couple is having any fertility problem if they do not conceive. There may be several reasons why a woman is not getting pregnant and these may be attributed to the problems of either of the couple, the man or the woman. The age also matters as the woman is genetically programmed to conceive at the age of 25 to 30 years, after which her fertility starts waning, becoming alarmingly low as she reaches her forties. On the other hand, thefertility of men too, is affected by age, but not to such a major extent. When you are not conceiving after repeated efforts, you need to identify the signs and symptoms of infertility so that you can start with the treatment.
