Reinventing our Food Systems
Copenhagen, September 6th 2017

Lets face it our food systems are not at their healthiest right now. But are technologies like vertical farming growing plants under LED lights, meat cultivated in the lab, food delivered by drones, robot farmers etc. going help us live healthier lives and reinvent our food systems? It is time for a critically reflective conversation.

On September 6th we are bringing together chefs, startups, farmers, scientists, designers and other practitioners for a one-day Food Systems Summit in Copenhagen. We are a part of Techfestival, a week-long dialogue on how technology impacts us as humans and our societies.

The Food Systems Summit is an intimate event by practitioners for practitioners. It’s free, invite-only, and limited to 80 people, attending from all around the world.

  • The event is highly participatory — not a regular conference.
  • Participants hail from a variety of professions and will take a multidisciplinary approach to our food systems.
  • No commercial agendas or pitches but hands on sessions with other practitioners.

Let’s challenge best practices in the industry and have candid conversations about our work and the bigger picture. This is a chance for us to understand each other’s perspectives better and to build a diverse, inter-disciplinary community.

A lot of food for thought, we hope. It will be an intense and fun day of conversations and workshops.

Want to join?

We have reserved some last spots for people who are hands on driving the evolution of our food systems through their work and want to contribute to this community. If you are interested but are not yet on our list — we would love to hear from you and have you join. Just get in touch with us.
