We’re excited to announce the addition of Kendall Burman as General Counsel and Luis Miranda as Director of Communications and Politics to Alloy’s already impressive roster of talent. We launched Alloy to build broadly accessible, high-quality data and technology solutions for the progressive movement, and the depth of experience Kendall and Luis bring at the intersection of tech, government and the political arena will help us get critical tools into the hands of those on the frontlines of campaigns for change. They’ll work hand in hand with our engineers, product managers, designers, and partnerships teams as Alloy sets a new standard of sophistication, security, accuracy and ease of use for the tools progressive organizations depend on to find and mobilize voters.

Kendall Burman will serve as Alloy’s General Counsel. She previously served in the Obama administration as both an associate White House counsel and Deputy General Counsel for the Department of Commerce, was chief staff counsel for the 2008 Obama campaign, and was a fellow at the Center for Democracy and Technology.

Luis Miranda, a former communications aide to President Obama and former Communications Director of the Democratic National Committee, is joining Alloy as Director of Communications and Politics. Luis has worked at the intersection of technology and politics throughout his career, led state party communications for Howard Dean’s 50-state-strategy, and is a Political Partner with the Truman National Security Project.
